As we all know by now, Jolla recently launched their phone via Snapdeal in India which turned out to be a big deal after the amount of good response they got from the Indian market and the people who were interested to attend the launch event.
Gizmo Lead which is an Indian tech blog covering mostly Smartphones, Tablets and Smartwatches, had an interview with Marc Dillon in which they have talked about the device itself, the company, the strategies behind the company’s lead and obviously, India’s big launch day.
In the first video which was the main interview with questions and answers, Marc Dillon announces that despite a few more countries that Jolla will have a launch day in them apart from these new ones that they already had, there are companies that are interested in Sailfish OS as Sailfish can basically run on any Android device with a bit of tweaking and making the drivers work (As we have seen some one-man operations on Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, and a few more devices.) which makes Sailfish OS very compelling in the era of sold privacy.
Dillon also stresses the fact that the user’s privacy is very important to them and they pledge not sell your data to any company or organization for the sake of money.

Android was designed to take user data, and monetize it to make money for other companies.
